With this way over-the-top version of "Jingle Bell Rock."OK, it seemed funny at the time (1983, as I recall). But since most of the time I saw it was on NBC's "Friday Night Videos" at a bar where I'd go after getting off my shift as a waiter, maybe that was just the beer and spearmint schnapps talking. This year, they've come out with a new Christmas album. As with most new releases in the holiday genre, I'm waiting for at least a year for it to come down in price. Who knows, there may be something there that makes it worth my while.
