When you use the elevators at the New Orleans Marriott, you enter the floor number before you get in, and you're told which elevator (A-F) to stand by. Once you step on to the elevator, it stops only at the floors that have been programmed by the selection of those waiting in the lobby.
Just thought you'd want to know.
