Two Quick Comments About the NBA Finals

1. Kobe Bryant is amazing. With any kind of support tonight, the Lakers would be on the verge of another NBA championship. The fact that Boston played well - very well - and the fact that the rest of the Lakers played poorly - very poorly - is a testament to Kobe's ability. This game should have been a blowout, and the only reason it wasn't was Kobe Bryant.

2. Doris Burke is the best sideline reporter I've ever seen. I still am not convinced that sideline reporters need to exist, but she is great. Even Phil Jackson, who for some odd reason seems to delight in being a jerk with sideline reporters (and with clowns like Craig Sager having the job, I can't say I blame him), gives her respect and answers her questions.
