I wasn't able to see it in person because of my trip to San Diego, but a fellow fan was kind enough to keep me up-to-date last night by texting me all the major developments in the Pleasant Grove-Laguna Creek city championship game. In just their second year with a full varsity team, the Eagles triumphed 26-7, which is a pretty remarkable accomplishment.This Sacramento Bee photo shows one of the team's stars, Michael Madkins, scoring a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
