Mr. and Mrs. Blog just happened to be wrapping up a quick vacation on the coast this morning, and were lucky enough to join a hundred or so folks on Lover's Point in Pacific Grove to see something in person that I'm fairly confident we'll never see again.
It was fun to see it with a large group, even if it was about an hour late.

Well, it was delayed because of fog in the Bay area. They didn't want people to miss any portion so they held up take off from Edwards. We had people lined in a number of locations here in L.A. for this. I saw it from the twelfth floor at work. Simply a stunning sight.
When they move it from LAX to its final location, through the streets, that too will be something. BTW, come on down at the end of October and see it up close at the California Science Center. We can't wait.
